Ho Chi Min to Cu Chi Tunnels to Mekong Delta

Woke up early, showered, and walked to the tourist agency. Ate a sandwich, 30k VND or 1€. The tour was from 07:30 till 18:30. From Ho Chi Min we moved to Cu Chi Tunnels, Mekong Delta and back to Ho Chi Minh. On Klook I paid 38 €. We packed in the van and drove out. The van broke after half an hour, we waited next one, not as good.

First stop before tunnels, shop with disabled (Agent Orange), souvenirs 100k VND or 3,4€. At the crowded tunnels, the guide explained how they survived, how they defended with traps like spikes. The tunnel was too small for me. I shot AK47, 650k VND or 22€. Next was lunch, beer, and Pepsi 90k VND or 3€.

This was followed 2h drive to the Mekong Delta. First, we were on a big boat, then we changed to a small boat. We stopped for some fruit, chocolate, python handling, and traditional singing. Now we moved with tuktuk, tried coco candy, snake liquor, beer 30k VND or 1€, souvenir 30k VND or 1€. We returned with the boat and van. Nice, full of activities, but too touristy.

I was back in a city. I went for dinner, pho bo and wings, 225k VND or 7,6€. Wandered around the city center, and there was a concert in the main square. Took a Grab to the station, 60k VND or 2€.

It was time for the night train, sleeper, 21:00-05:30, Ho Chi Min-Nha Trang. Not much sleep on a hard bunk bed.
